Description
Design and maintain an efficient and productive project management system, coordinating with internal and external cross-functional and business teams to track and report project progress to executives and stakeholders. Help prioritize projects, develop process improvements, and ensure all deliverables support overall business objectives. Lead the PMO team, managing IT portfolio, resources, and budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate across IT and business teams to ensure excellence in project implementation and strategic delivery.
- Develop and manage processes to ensure timely response and delivery of all project requests, including implementation calendars and project workflows.
- Evaluate progress and revise plans to meet changing needs, requirements, or costs.
- Track project performance, schedule, budget, quality, and risks, analyzing short- and long-term goal completion.
- Monitor budgets using financial models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections.
- Create data outputs and visualizations for stakeholder reports on a weekly basis.
- Maintain updated flowcharts, budget trackers, program roadmaps, and calendars.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Support strategic project completion and conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Qualification
- 5 – 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the insurance industry.
- Skilled in analyzing and reporting project status, monitoring performance, and maintaining service quality according to PMO standards.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage aggressive delivery schedules.
- Passion for improving processes and tools.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, problem-solving, people management, and negotiation skills.
