In this talk, we’ll walk through a practical pattern: ingest and embed your content, store vectors in PostgreSQL with pgvector, and use Spring AI to wire retrieval and generation into a normal Spring Boot service. You’ll see why a personal archive benefits from RAG (grounded replies, source-backed snippets), and how keeping embeddings and metadata in Postgres keeps the stack familiar: one database for app data and the vector store.
