We are all familiar with project management principles, approaches and techniques applied in industries such as IT and construction. These industries are heavily project focused, and this reflects into their organization as well. However, in other industries, the project management approach is less obvious and less documented, and in many companies, there is no such role as a project manager within their organization.

But how can a project management approach help those organizations that are not explicitly project focused?

In every organization, there are a number of tasks and activities with different objectives (and so different kinds of deliveries) that still can be approached with PM methodology. These tasks and activities would most likely be performed much more effectively if approached in the same way.

In this lecture, our speaker will share his experience in adopting project management principles in environments not used to these and highlight the benefits of this approach.

The main aim of this lecture is to encourage all those familiar with project management principles to spread and adopt these in any organization since, as PMI rightly stated,  “there isn’t a problem that we cannot solve with a project”!
