OUTLINE

Agile means fast and continuously changing requirements. And a QA needs to know all the requirements to ensure quality of product being delivered. In this talk Sriram will touch upon some practices and techniques that have helped him ensure quality. He will also talk about some principles that he has followed closely and talk about the benefits of each principle. Also he will be sharing his experience on a project from beginning to end and different hats/roles that he wore to help the project being successful. He will be comparing his experience as a QA in a traditional company and how different it is to work in pure agile environment.

About Sriram Subramanian: "My name is Sriram. I am from Chennai, India. I have been advocating quality for 7 years now. I believe QAs are the bridge between the business and technical people in the team. QAs know what business wants and the why, also QAs knows the technical feasibility of the requirements. I have been with ThoughtWorks for 4 years now and I dare say it has changed my perspective towards tech and towards the world. You can see me debating upon where to cover tests and what tests to be covered, I believe any kind of duplication is effort wasted.
